Today – 145th birthday of our great-grandfather, Eugène LANCERAY, born on September 4, 1875 – an illustrious painter of french origin, son of the sculptor Eugène LANCERAY and Catherine BENOIS, nephew of Alexandre BENOIS, brother of the painter Z. SEREBRIAKOVA (born Lanceray) and of the architect Nicolas LANCERAY. The artistic dynasty to which Pavel Pavlinov dedicated so many books, articles and other publications.
Сегодня исполняется 145 лет со дня рождения действительного академика Императорской Академии художеств Евгения Евгеньевича Лансере (1875–1946). У моего прадеда была очень интересная и сложная судьба. Родился он в Павловске. До 1917 года жил в Санкт-Петербурге и в усадьбе Усть-Крестище. Потом спасал семью в Дагестане. В 1920-м приплыл из Новороссийска в Грузию и поселился в Тифлисе.
